Note: Dark Archons therefore take 4 instead of 6. - Carrier cost reduced by 50 gas, to 350 minerals and 250 gas. - Scout gun attack speed (ground attack only) was reduced by 65%. - Wraith laser attack speed (ground attack only) was reduced by 65%. - Dropship speed was increase to be the same as that of an unupgraded Shuttle. - Upgraded Overlord speed was increased to be the same speed as a Dropship. - Valkyrie armor was reduced by 1, to 2. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Battle.net Beta Patch 1.02 10/30/98 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Sunken Colony damage was increased to 40. - Science Vessel sight radius was reduced by one. - Science Vessel cost was increased to 100 minerals and 225 gas. - Valkyrie sight radius was increased by two. - Lurker damage type was improved to "normal". - Dark Archon speed was increased to equal that of a normal Archon. - Carrier hit points were increased to 300. - Interceptor damage was increased by one. - Robotics Support Bay build time was doubled. - 2 new Ladder Maps were added. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Battle.net Beta Patch 1.01 10/24/98 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Corsair attack radius and damage should be correct now. - Corsair Disruption Field area of effect fixed. - Should be able to Mind Control expansion units correctly. - Fixed a bug with lurker spikes going out too far. - Fixes to other miscellaneous Lurker bugs. - Fixed some logic bugs with Medic heal. - Devourer now has a standard damage type rather than one third. Costs have changed as well. - Ladder games should be reporting games correctly now. - Should be displaying correct Battle.net icons for Brood War. - UNITS.TXT is correctly installed into your Brood War directory. Contains information about all the units. - A BUNCH of balance tweaks across the board. Even to existing Starcraft units.
